Astronauts Rejoice 2019 Labor Day in House

US astronauts aboard the Worldwide House Station start this week with a time without work at the moment (2 September) to mark the US Labor Day vacation on Earth.

Nick Hague, Christina Koch and Andrew Morgan, NASA astronauts, have extra time to name their associates and family members, or simply chill out and watch the Earth via the window. They might merely spend time watching the large hurricane Dorian from area, like one in all their teammates.

Hague, Koch and Morgan make up half of the six present Expedition 60 crew members of the area station. Russian cosmonaut Alexey Ovchinin (station commander), cosmonaut Alexander Skvortsov and European House Company astronaut Luca Parmitano full the group. It's Parmitano who captured every day pictures of Hurricane Dorian from the area station.

The Hague, Koch and Ovchinin had been launched on the station in March this 12 months. As Hague and Ovchinin return to Earth in October, Koch has already accomplished a virtually one 12 months mission to the area station, the primary of its type for a feminine astronaut. She’s going to return to Earth in February 2020, NASA officers mentioned.

Morgan, Skvortsov and Parmitano entered the station on July 20th. They are going to return to Earth in December of this 12 months.
