Relive Apollo with creator Doug Brinkley on the Intrepid Museum in New York

Area Lovers: In case you are in New York on Friday, June 14, prepare for the 50th Anniversary of Apollo on the Intrepid Sea, Air & Area Museum with historian and creator Douglas Brinkley.

The Floating Museum will maintain a dialogue with Brinkley on his new bestselling guide, "American Moonshot: John F. Kennedy and the Nice Race to Area" (Harper, 2019), in addition to a guide sale and one signature.

And when you're there, check out the brand new Intrepid facility on Apollo, which opened on Might 1 and entitled "Apollo 11: the media, the moon and past ". The ability, situated within the Area Shuttle Pavilion of the museum close to the Enterprise Shuttle, features a rising tower of classic televisions. In accordance with an announcement from the museum, these televisions present the reactions of the world inhabitants to this milestone occasion.
